Eastvalley F.A.S.T. Program Spring 2023

The Eastvalley Foundation sponsors the following after-school time enrichment classes for your children to enjoy and learn.  A portion of all class fees will go towards improvements to our school! 

***Please note: all children attending FAST programs must be registered with the ASP program in case of any pickup issues or other emergencies.

F.A.S.T Program Descriptions:

AcroTumbling - Learn acrobatic skills and have fun tumbling with friends on the mats. This class will build flexibility, total body strength, and coordination in every student. Watch your child grow more confident with the help of our experienced instructors in a supportive and safe environment. This club offers training that compliments dance, gymnastics, or cheerleading training, as well as other sports.  *We are an Acrobatic Arts certified program.  *All students will receive a free t-shirt. Basketball - National Academy of Athletics -  Get ready to learn basketball FUNdamentals the FUN way. Our belief is that learning the fundamentals is the most important of a child's early development in sports. Each session will deliver provide students a chance to learn, practice and apply their newly found basketball skills. This club will be a blast and a launchpad for your child's future in basketball. Cobb Soccer Academy (Grades K-5 on Fridays)- Cobb Soccer Academy is designed for soccer players of all levels and abilities. The academy will be centered around developing players according to their stage of development and offering hands-on training. Sessions will focus on teaching technical skills such as moves, dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting. The focus will also be on teaching the attacking and defending principles of play. Drama Kids - Drama Kids International provides remarkable creative drama education for children and young adults. This unique, fun and creative program helps to build your child’s acting skills, creative thinking, communication skills, confidence, leadership abilities, and self-esteem. Our highly qualified and specially trained teachers bring new lessons and imaginative learning experiences each week, so that all students participate fully using a wide variety of dramatic activities. Fine Art by SMart Art Club! - Painting, Drawing, Pastels, Murals, & Clay!  All ages & skill levels love our class! Frame-worthy art piece every week! Guitar Club - It’s time to rock with Guitar Club! Guitar Club gives students in 2nd-5th grade the chance to get their hands on a ‘real’ guitar and play exciting music with their friends! Using our Three-year, Three-tier curriculum, students will learn songs ranging from fun classic rock to contemporary pop songs. Our experienced and encouraging teachers do a great job with both beginning and advanced students, so no experience is necessary to have fun in our class. Each session includes a brand new set of songs to learn from a variety of styles, and ends with an exciting Final Performance for family and friends!

Kid Chess - Chess makes you smart, We make it fun! Students in all grades are invited to join Kid Chess on Wednesdays at Eastvalley where we teach chess in a fun and educational environment.  Chess is like a gymnasium for the brain. KidzKeys - KidzKeys uses color and tons of FUN to introduce students in K-3rd grade to the joy of playing the piano. Using the colorful Chroma-Notes™ system and Kodaly rhythm syllables, students quickly learn to read musical notation while they play familiar songs they will love to practice in class and at home. Our experienced teachers do a great job with both beginners and little Mozarts, no experience is needed to join! Each session ends with a Class Recital for family and friends!
