Cheerleading/Performance Cheer - In the Fall your cheerleader will participate in Sideline Cheering and School Representation. They will learn SEVERAL sideline cheers that they will perform at an East Cobb Middle School Football Game, Wheeler High School Football Game, Wheeler Basketball Game, East Cobber Parade, Homecoming Parade and several other School and Community Events. In the Spring we will switch to Performance Cheer (Competition Cheer) with challenging routines set to music with stunts and tumbling. Register by submitting form to email@example.com
Cobb Soccer Academy (Grades K-3 on Fridays)- Cobb Soccer Academy is designed for soccer players of all levels and abilities. The academy will be centered around developing players according to their stage of development and offering hands on training. Sessions will focus on teaching technical skills such as moves, dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting. Registration: www.cobbsocceracademy.com
Chinese and Chinese Culture - This class is good for kids with some or without Chinese background. In these classes we will teach Chinese and Chinese culture through chattering, picture book, storytelling, game playing, role acting, and special event activities. We will learn most essential and core vocabulary and expressions in Chinese. We will discuss Chinese culture and will also play various games and activities such as using chopsticks, Chinese brush pen, making dumplings, and making arts. FUNdamental Science (K-5) For years educators have stressed that students learn better “by doing” – especially in the sciences. Students of all ages learn more science-content and skills when they engage in investigation and discovery using everyday materials and the basic equipment of science. Fun With Food - We will experiment, taste, smell, assemble, and play with food. GEO STEAM Club (K-5) - In this exciting enrichment class, students will see the world through the scope of a Geographer and Geologist. They will explore well known monuments and places by learning about the geology, environment and culture of those places. Hands-On Lab experiments and Art Projects will give students new insight and understanding of the world around them, while learning to read maps and understand directional relationships between people, landforms and civilization. Guitar Club - Guitar Club gives students in 3rd-5th grade the chance to get their hands on a ‘real’ guitar and play exciting music with their friends! Scientific Robotics (Grades 2-5): The fantastic, real world benefits of making and programming robots.
